Join us for this fun, aerobic activity using drumming movements. Cardio drumming has been shown to aid with improved cardiovascular health, endurance and strength, calorie burning, coordination and balance and reduced stress and anxiety. It is a low-impact workout that people of all ages and fitness levels can enjoy. We will be hosting two sessions at 11am and 1pm. Weather permitting, we will be outdoors. Space is limited. Follow signs on Middle Level. In the event of inclement weather, we will move indoors to the Activity Room on the Middle Level.
Laugh until your sides ache during this interactive comedy performance that uses plenty of audience participation. If you haven’t been to a Comedy Sportz show before, you won’t want to miss this one! Time 12pm – 1pm in the theater on the Main Stage. Grab a bite to eat at one of several food kiosks located throughout the event and enjoy during the show.
Our Friends at Fred Astaire will demonstrate and teach a series of three fan-favorite dances: the Waltz, Rhumba and Two-Step. Dances will be taught during micro-sessions held at 10:30, 11:30 and 12:30.
What could be better than a morning of gentle stretching? Throw is a bunch of adorable goats and see what you get! If you have tried goat yoga before or are simply curious, this activity is for you. Space is limited. Time 9am – 10am. Will be held outdoors, weather permitting. In the event of inclement weather, we will have a straight yoga session in the Activity Room on the Middle Level. Look for signs or ask a volunteer.
Catch-up on the latest fashion trends for older adults and get some ideas on how to spruce up your wardrobe! Enjoy watching older adult models walk the catwalk showcasing what’s hot for Summer 2025! You will also receive general styling tips and suggestions on how to look and feel your best as we age. Time 1pm – 2pm. Located in the Chapel Theater on the Middle Level.
Who doesn’t love a nice, gentle stretch or head massage? Our friends at Stretch Zone will be set-up throughout the day to provide complimentary stretches and explain the importance of staying flexible as we age.
In true active aging fashion, the fantastic ____ Family will perform live music and karakoke in the main Atrium from 10am – 11am and then again from 12pm – 2pm. Judy, Mary and their 80-year-old father have been entertaining crowds under the name of Two of a Kind for over 30-years and will have you tapping your toes and dancing in the hallway to songs you know and love.
The game of Bocce began as early as 264 B.C. in Rome, Italy, and involves rolling balls to win points by getting them close to a target. The game is played in teams and is a lot of fun! Over 25 million people in the US alone play bocce. Learn how to play and where you can get involved in a nearby league. This activity is compliments of the Italian Community Center, home of Festa Italiana, The Taste of Italy and many more beloved Milwaukee events. Stop by their booth in the Exhibit Hall to give Bocce Ball a try!

Come see what all the chatter is about around the fastest growing sport in the nation – PICKLEBALL! If you can play ping pong, tennis or any other racquet sport, you can PICKLE! This popular, active, fun game, is on a court half the size of a tennis court and twice the fun! Play is indoors or outdoors and can be enjoyed at many parks, rec centers and clubs throughout the greater Milwaukee area and surrounding suburbs! Learn the history, rules and strategy behind the game, and how you can get involved from Mike McGuire, ITPTA teaching pro.
Mike McGuire is a Level II certified Pickleball instructor of the International Pickleball Teaching Professional Association and has been since 2016. He regularly teaches private lessons and conducts clinics and corporate events for players of all levels. Mike also plays competitively with the top players in Southeast Wisconsin. We are excited to have a professional of Mike’s stature be part of the inaugural Enjoy Life Active Aging Symposium.
